7th April - HOME SWEET HOME

After much consideration, i decided to move back to stay with my parents. Since i am cleared with two negative swabs, but still not allowed to work and on quarantine, i wont be seeing anybody else anyway for these few days. Therefore i have decided to move back for now and move out once i start working again next week.

Spent whole morning busy packing. Mop the floor of my room and swept entire floor of the house. You wont believe how dirty it is....

Finally. I am home before 1pm and mum has served this lapcheong fried rice. I miss pork!!

Dessert is this mango sorbet my mum made. 

This kid pestered me to play fishing with her.

My day is quite productive. I have requested for refund from Hotel Shinjuku due to postponement of olympic. Also cancelled my stay at this hotel near Mount Fuji.

Trying to recover abit of lost money.

The Shinjuku hotel is very nice by approaching us to allow refund/cancellation. 

For flight tickets, its very complicated.

We will be taking Airasia to Tokyo for olympic. 

Airasia not allowed cancel/refund if your travel date is beyond 31 May 2020. 

But you can still change the date of flight (BUT NOT destination), however you need to bear the cost of fare difference.

Therefore no choice, my current plan is to change the date of flight until the travel date for olympic 2021 is fixed.

For Malaysia airline which involves Eric's travel to malaysia and my travel to UK, there is a more lenient policy. But it is still considered impossible to achieve.

It allows you to change date and destination of travel before 30 June and that trip must be made before 31 Dec 2020, first change is free of charge but subsequent change will need to bear the cost of difference.

BUT i dont think this pandemic will end by December.

It is RM10K worth of flight ticket there. 

Enough of depressing story. This is my dinner. Dark soy sauce pork belly!! 

I am so lucky i have my family around.
