Snow Pear and Chop Shell Pull

Even though i had an EXTREMELY short winter break, 10 days, i think i've made the most out of it coz i went to Snow Pear and Chop Shell Pull. Why the names so weird? haha coz they are 雪梨 and 坎贝拉 a.k.a Sydney and Canberra!! One being the major city Sydney and another one the Australia Capital Territory. Visited these 2 places with Hui Qing, Irene, Charlene and Audery.. So much to eat, so much to see!

In sydney airport

The highlight of the day is FERRY!! omg i really had lotsa fun and its the best experience ever. From Pyrmont Bay we took the ferry to Circular Quay
(by the way i like the pirate ship very muchie)
The landmarks of Sydney, Harbor Bridge and Opera House, symbols of modern architecture can be seen from so many angles and yet they never failed to look attractive

From Circular Quay we walked towards Sydney Opera House

And finally i've seen one of the EX seven wonders of the world :D
Walking on the Harbour Bridge
Missed a ferry from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour so we walked there coz we didn't reserve for this famous steak house (48hrs prior reservation is needed) and to be able to dine in we needa be there before 6pm so that they have vacancies for us!
and i am soooo glad we made it!! had full rack of lamb. if im staying longer in Sydney i would definitely go for a second time

Our stay in Sydney is really short but what is Sydney if we didn't even have a pancake in Pancakes on The Rocks? And people said women always have stomach for desserts.. and so here we are! yummmmm!
Believe it or not, we had pancakes 2 days in a row LOLAnd to my surprise, i bumped into my INTEC classmates! was lost contact for 3 years and fate made us meet again. They came from Tasmania and i came from Adelaide, to Sydney (so big the city wor) and to this very Pancakes on The Rocks (got few branches in Sydney wor) and sat in a table next to us (the Pancake house so big wor) really OMG OMG OMG
Night at Pyrmont Bay. And guess what? we came here for 2nd ferry ride of the day haha love it
Very hard to take clear pictures at night and especially on a ferry so i only managed to get some
The Harbor Bridge and Opera House at night :)
Sydney Opera House at night!
Day 3, we joined a tour to Blue Mountains

But i enjoyed these 3 sisters more
other than this Pig Head (the rock at the back lar not me =.=)

And so that's it for Blue Mountains.......

Reached city at about 5pm, had a rest then we walked around the city

Day 4, we set off to Canberra. Just a $15 bus ticket with approx 3 hours journey
The Australian War Memorial and its perfect reflection :D
Names shall not be forgotten, on this tablet with the flowers that will never withered
The Anzac Parade, pebbled path leading to the Parliament House from War Memorial. too bad there's a river in between
The Parliament House
and the sun is setting
therefore we had only like 5 minutes inside the building coz its closing soon.

The House of Representative meeting hall
Day 5, we went to The Royal Australian Mint. All the coins circulating in Australia are produced here
